New Music: Imani Gooden Slays In New Music Video 'Numb'

When your friends send you their music mid process it is important to take the time to listen and when your friends send you their finished product it is important to share it on every platform that you have available. Imani and I have been friends for well over a decade now and our love of music and fun has kept us close like family. So when she started promoting the release of her new single "Numb" I was too hype! I'd first heard "Numb" at a time when I needed to experience my own level of numbness just to get through a day. I instantly fell in love. Different than anything I'd ever heard from Imani in the past, Numb had a more upbeat feel and exposed a side of Imani that until recently had been reserved for family and close friends.

In the video the Harlem native arrives at a party for three. Once seated she is greeted by a bottle girl who places her Hookah on the table in front of her. One pull and Imani goes down the rabbit hole. There's dancing, there is relatability, oh and Imani looks gorgeous as always! The video which was directed by Invisible Imagery Films  is everything that I loved about music videos growing up. Don't take my word for it though, the video is posted below.
