Stoner Boss: Meet the Pretti Beast Behind Lifted Honeys

If we are being honest 2020 was a year of Black women taking up space. We were every where from politics to beauty, journalism, cannabis and beyond. On social media I am very vocal in my support of women in the marijuana industry, I even moderate a few groups surrounding the subject on Facebook. Over the last few years I have made a ton of connections that I can't wait to share with you, but first I want to introduce you to one of my favorite stoner bosses Arianna of Lifted Honey's: a marijuana accessories company made for us.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself and Lifted Honey's?

I’m a typical 24 year old living in Saint Petersburg, FL. I started Lifted Honey’s in March 2019 because I felt like the industry needed something for the girls.

2. How you first got involved in with the cannabis industry?

I have family members who have been medicinal marijuana patients from the very start. That's what made me interested in working in the industry full time. I’ve been working in the field of MMJ for over a year

3. What do you find most challenging about having an online boutique?

The most challenging for me has having to put myself out there and be put on the spot I’m super shy so any attention on me gives me really bad anxiety. I guess that's why I advocate so hard for MMJ.

4. Tell me about some of your favorite things about Lifted Honey's?

My favorite thing about Lifted Honey's is just the overall aesthetic. It's like a smoke shop from back in the day but for girls only! I also love how diverse our little community is women from all over the country are apart of our girl gang lol. 

5. What advice would you give to someone who wanted to open a online boutique?

To base your business on something you're passionate about. I see so many people who start businesses just because it’s trending right now but end up failing because their heart isn’t in it. 

6. Do you see yourself expanding?

For sure! We are launching Lifted Honey’s Beauty in 2021! I really hope to travel the country and do pop up events.

7. As a black woman, how important do you think it is for more black women to get into the cannabis industry?

We need to get in anyway we can, especially when industry is thriving and Black and Brown people are still being targeted and arrested for cannabis use.

8. What do you think helps Lifted Honeys stands out against the competition?

The quality of the product I provide and my customer service. My relationship with my customers it more so like a friendship than a transaction. My business is also very flamboyant which makes it a little hard to miss,

9. How important has social media been in marketing Lifted Honey's? 

Social Media is the main way I connect with customers and influencers and I also use it to network with other businesses.

10. A lot of people are interested in online boutiques for the money earning potential. What are some tips for people interesting in making money from online boutiques? What are some realistic expectations in regards to what can be made?

Make realistic goals for your business, don’t expect it to be easy. Be patient because your hard work will pay off.
