Let’s Be Frank Her Magic Is Divine

Fashion designer Rhonda M. Franks knew that fashion was her first love at the age of six-years old. Studying her aunts threads and being wowed by the women in her church, it was something about colors and designs that peaked her interest. Rhonda took her interest and turned it into a tangible goal. Styling local artists, pageant contestants and authors, Rhonda was inspired to do more. In 2015, Rhonda launched her company “Michelle Divine”.

Battling with life's challenges and the emotions that come with that is something that everyone can relate to especially the "Black Woman In America". Whether it was finding balance in her life through religion, sudden break-ups, meaningless rebounds, spontaneous moves Rhonda lived those experiences authentically. Leaving room to receive lessons and blessings. 

While working as a visual merchandiser at H&M Rhonda realized that her talents were being taken for granted an unappreciated which is how her company, Michelle Divine was born. In 2015 she launched her very first "Capsule Collection". The collection consisted of black and white fabric choices and hints of fur and silhoughette concepts. Rhonda's personal coin of the collection is in this quote where she states "Where there's pain, there is also beauty shown in these unique transitions." 

Following her "Capsule Collection" Rhonda spent time building her brand and learning the in's and outs of entrepreneurship. The Michelle Divine Website launched a few years later in 2019 showcasing her talent unapologetically and authentically. Currently shipping statewide Michelle Divine has become more than just one single collection. There are option tabs for women, men, intimates, shoes, accessories children and more.

Rhonda is looking to expand Michelle Divine globally to make it a name no one forgets. Let's be frank, her magic is divine.
