T'yanna Wallace Collaborates With Wet n' Wild Beauty for "Big Poppa Mascara"
No one has mastered the art of shifting hip-hop culture like the children of some of hip-hop's most influential rap stars. From the Simmons sisters and Pastry to Blue Ivy winning a Grammy the second generation of hip-hop royalty is using their gifts and passions to push the culture forward and I for one love it. One hip-hop heir who has mastered making her own lane through the art of collaboration is the daughter of the late great Christopher Wallace, T'yanna Wallace.
These days when I see T'yanna's name people are talking about her "Notoriouss Clothing Store" and her strides in the fashion world, but I was totally geeked to learn of her collab with Wet n Wild. The relationship between beauty and fashion is unspoken but deeply linked. But when the Wet n' Wild team beauty team collaborated with girl boss-owner for the “Big Poppa Mascara” campaign, it was an east coast west coast marriage made in Brooklyn (Wet n Wild might be based in L.A but they were born in Brooklyn too) that I really enjoyed. You can see T'yanna's video for the collaboration below:
